Help
When you start it for the first time, the application will guide you through the first steps of configuration, security and identification.
Step 1: Language SettingsYou can choose between having the application in Spanish or Basque. |
Step 2: Notification and camera permissionsYou can authorize, if you wish, to receive notifications from the application. It will also ask you for permissions to use the camera, which will be used when you use the QR reading option within the application. |
Step 3: Set the PINTo secure access to NIK data, it is necessary to establish a PIN that will protect access to it. Very important: the PIN is only stored on the mobile itself and if it is forgotten, access to NIK will be lost, making it necessary to reset the application and its data. |
Step 4: Use biometricsIn order to use the application more quickly, easily and safely, you can activate the use of biometrics if your mobile phone allows it. |
Step 5: conditions of usePlease read the terms and conditions of use of the application carefully. It is necessary to accept them to be able to use the application. |
Step 6: IdentificationThe next thing will be to identify ourselves, for this the simplest method is to use our BakQ to do so. If we do not have one, we can choose the options of making one completely online, or request an in-person appointment at a KZgunea center. We can also use other digital certificates, such as the DNIe or the FNMT, although for this we will have to use a computer. |
Step 7: App registrationWhen the identification is finished, the application will be registered and will be ready to, if we wish, receive notices through it from various official sources. |
All ready! With this we will have the application prepared and configured and you can start downloading your cards and accessing your web services. |
There is the possibility of using other digital certificates apart from the BakQ, such as the DNIe, although in this case we will have to use a computer. The process would be the following:
Step 1: DNIe option or other certificates
In this case, you will have to choose the option "Continue with my DNIe or Digital Certificate" |
Step 2: Use the URL on your computer
A URL will appear (https://euskadi.eus/nik/es ), which you will have to type in the browser of a computer, in which you can use the DNIe or the certificate of your choice: |
Step 3: Izenpe's Giltza form
When you type the URL from the previous step, the next thing that will appear will be the following form, with which you can choose the method you want, depending on the certificate you want to use. Normally using the second option of "Digital Certificates". |
Step 4: reading the QROnce you have finished with the previous step and have correctly identified yourself with your certificate, a QR similar to the one that appears in the example will be generated, you will only have to click "Continue" in the application so that the camera is activated and you can read that QR with it: |
Step 5: final result
When the process finishes, it will tell you if it went correctly both on the web page with the following example message, and in the application that will finish the process and ask you to continue: |
